Another clear start to the night before fog rolled in during the early hours, Giving some lovely early morning inversions. A low of 4.2c

 

Currently; Dry with light winds and fog bank just below me.

Clear spells overnight. Shallow fog forming towards dawn. Vis around 200 yards. Fog thinning this morning, sunny spells.

Clear spells for a time overnight, thick fog forming through the early hours, visibility <100 yards this morning. Fog slow lifting this morning, vis at obs around 200 Yards. Fog lifting to low cloud through the morning. The afternoon saw the cloud break allowing good sunny spells.

The fog cleared much quicker, with the sun from a hazy sky rather than sky obscured as in previous days, so ble sky by about 0930.

Fog for an hour or so during the early hours but most of the night was clear and it was a clear and sunny start to this morning with fog in the Derwent valley up to around 250m.

The valley fog cleared by 0900 g.m.t and it's been a dry morning with long periods of sunshine and only brief interruptions from patches of St fractus.

 

At 0800 g.m.t

Temp: 8.9c

Grass min: 0.6c

A foggy start to the day, with a partly cloudy sky later in the morning with some sunny spells. Less cloud in the afternoon with loads of sunshine, and a cloudless sky by 5pm.

Fog lifted quite early it then turned cloudy for around an hour max before brightening up again and its stayed that way all afternoon

A dry and mainly sunny day although there were some interruptions to the sunshine from mid morning through to early afternoon as early morning fog in the valleys lifted into broken St.

A rare calm at observation time this evening.
