Periodic browser checks when you visit

Morning, some of you have noticed that a message about 'checking your browser' appears before you visit the forums currently. This is due to a ddos attack which occurred last night causing a little bit of downtime, so we're running mitigation against it. The browser check is just to ensure that only legitimate visitors are making it onto the servers, and any dodgy 'ddos bots' don't.

We'll most likely come off of this highest level of protection at some point today, so you'll stop seeing the messages, but obviously in the future you may see the same browser check message from time to time should an attack happen again - which unfortunately is an increasingly common event across the net these days.

    Thanks

    Paul
