Massive storm developing to my south non stop thunder cg's... Its a biggun :shock: :shock:

First rumbles of thunder here in woking, surrey, also wind getting very gusty

:shock: A huge storm has just gone over :shock: ....started with a few rubbles here in Swindon at 13.45.Even as i type it's going on,as it seems to go then approach again!

We've had massive GC bolts with instant thunder shaking the house!Rain has been torrential, with the street in flood.Power has been cut a couple of times,and house alarms have been sounding.Police sirens are sounding around the area too.

Storm 'seems' to be moving south to north, but like i said, you think it moves away then it's back!! :shock: My guess is that it has developed over this area.More soon.

:shock: This storm just keeps coming!!My lightening detector has gone mad.

15 minutes ago i went outside with my 6 year old daughter to look at the flooding here is the pic (she is standing in the road)

The lightening has picked up again with lots of close CG again! 2 and a quater hours :shock:

It went a bit vicious here - moving towards Londodn now but still a lot of rain - uif it continues to build, this will be a big one!

Heavy rain shower just now.

It lasted all of two minutes before passing over.

I think it formed right over my area, as it seemed to come from no where.

I can see sunny skies again now, and some nice convection.

Also hearing a lot of crackling over the MW radio now.

Had storm here. Nothing to big bt numerous thunder and a few large lightning strikes. Very bright and one very close

I think it is beginning to clear now.This has to of been one of the best storms i've seen in years....nearly 3 hours worth too! The flooding was one of my biggest worries today.

Kicking off now..first rolls of thunder just cannot work out where exactly position of storm is..quite strange but no precip just yet.

We currently have a quite bad storm rolling in from the south lots of rolling noise and plenty of visual extremly hot at the mo very windy and the wind is very warm indeed which was not the case on Tuesday where the wind was coldish and lightish

its been rolling in since 16.00

The 15.00 radar shows the intense storm over this area.I'd guess from all the sirens,a few places have been hit by lightening here.
