Great storm here has just finished had red lightning with that one and constant rumbles 1 CG rest were CC

Had one about 1.5 hours ago. wasnt really majour not alot of lightening, alot of rain tho.

Bit late but there was a minor cell in Central London at around 4 pm

some light rain and one flash of lightning and one long rumble of thunder

bit tame really.

Off line since yesterday but major storm around 5.00pm which lasted till after 7. Flooding quite extensive.

Much the same as Stu London, Was offline yesterday and took the wife out for her birthday in the evening, but at about 4pm yesterday heard 2 bangs of thunder and 1 flash of lightning although we did get 16mm of rain, so not all that bad :wink:

I was rather lucky as I had a brillient veiw point as the storm grew and heard one or two rumbles of thunder in the distance.

Got some pics of the Anvil while it was growing as well so I'm pleased about that.

:) Thursday 5th Aug 2004 is a day of storms that i will not forget easily! Today it made the local Swindon paper, flooding was everywhere with some good pics too.

It says there may be more on the way this Sunday :) .

Yea Casper, I seen something on Points West of the flood damage.

Apparantly BT have a massive problem reconnecting phonelines nationwide :!:

The Western Daily Press has an amazing photo of Cheltenham Town Centre as the cloudburst struck-a girl with a terrible shocked face and water bouncing as high as her knees :)
