Gust to 58mph at the airport late last evening but almost calm here now, 3/4 cover CuSc Ac Ci and a low of 7.4C

Yesterday evening's gale decreased to  f6-7 W by midnight after a maximum gust of 67 mph at 2128. There were squally showers during the evening but it became dry by midnight and the rest of the night was dry with clear spells.

 

Mild and quiet at the moment with bright intervals.

 

At 0900

Temp: 8.4c

24 hr max: 11.9c

24 hr min: 5.7c

Grass min: 2.8c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0900: 7.5 mm

A cloudy night after last evenings short spell of rain. Clear spells developing a short time before dawn, turning cloudy again soon afterwards. Mostly cloudy, a spells of light to moderate rain through the afternoon, turning very windy. The early to mid evening saw the wind increase further with gusts past 50 mph. Blustery showers too.

A mild and cloudy morning with one or two brief showers. A spell of moderate-heavy rain from about 1230 until 1300 followed by a dry afternoon with a few short sunny intervals.

Another heavy shower has just ended as I type.
