Just a minor niggle, I can't seem to find a "go to first unread post " thingy, when I open a thread . Not such an issue when it's quiet but it will be when we all get 6 ft of the white stuff , countrywide.

ever the optimist me

Could we get the 3 buttons that used to be on the community page, they allowed you to access the radar, charts & forecast.

New layout looks very professional, running smooth on Windows 7  Google Chrome.

Some members have randomly had their ability to update their statuses switched off during the upgrade for some reason, so please shout if this is happening and we can switch you back on.

Like I pointed out on the Winter Storms thread the only issue I have so far is seeing some attachments/links  other then that I think this new forum looks really plush! :D

Thumbs up to the new look. Sleek, clean and sharp. I like it. Keep up the good work. :)

It's still there, either click the name of the thread if you're on the forum index page, or the dot/star to the left of the topic if you're looking at it from a sub forum (like the winter area).

Hi,

new look appears to be working well on my iPhone but we no longer have people's locations appearing.

can this be remedied?

Yep, will have a look at this.

These'll sort themselves over the next 24/48 hours.

Getting a slightly annoying popup every time I load a new thread. "Would you like this site to send you notifications" or something like that. Doesn't seem to stay disappeared whatever I choose. On Firefox.

Any chance of increasing the visible length of statuses?

Hi,

Previously when logging in I could get rid of the topic section on the right hand side of the page. Can't seem to be able to after the upgrade.

I'm not sure how it works on Firefox but, on Chrome, you receive a 'push' notification when somebody replies to a status update that you've started, or commented on, the same with somebody quoting your posts as well. It's a very useful addition!

One or two issues.

Not good for the visually impaired. The login box uses colour that are close to be the same making it unreadable. Luckily there's a sign in option but then that raises the question do you need both anyway?

When items are coloured grey this normally indicates that the options isn't available so one would think you can't enable notifications.

The reply looks to be unavailable as well.

The notifications pop up is very annoying please disable it.

The justification is wrong by default.

The mobile version is better but if you have a long thread scrolling to the top to log out is annoying so you need a floating menu bar really.

Not very dyslexic friendly! The background and overall layout is very pale and is quite difficult for me to read in comfort. Perhaps a way of adding/changing the background could be possible?

If you haven't managed to hide it already its easy next to the 'show for the session' is an arrow click it and select never it will hide it

Model thread has gone half size....half screen white

Having same problem on iPhone. Seem to only have half the screen and then have to zoom to see it on screen.  Worked fine on iPad earlier but definitely not right on iPhone 5 s.

On the plus looks smart !

I like how you get a notification when you're quoted!

Click on the blue dot to the left of the thread you want to read I think.

This is fixed now, someone had tried to copy and paste from a blog which had protection on it to stop being doing that!
