    A mild dry start to the day. Gritters out last night wasting grit so the stocks probably need using up.

    Non stop rain all night and its still at it, wouldnt be suprised if lancashire is flooded again! Our garden and driveway is quite flooded

    Clear for a short time early yesterday evening before more cloud moved to leave the rest of the night cloudy with a few light showers.

    Light showers early this morning but for the last couple of hours it's been dry and cloudy.

    Mainly dry and cloudy until mid-afternoon when intermittent light rain arrived from the south. The rain became moderate and more persistent by 1700 but the heaviest rain was always to the west and south west.

    • Wet March so far with more rain for the rest of the month, but hints of more settled weather early April

      It's been a wet March for much of the UK, with well above average rainfall, though the Northern & Western Isles have been drier than average.
