Rain gauge for smartweather station

Hi all first time poster  I have a smartweather station and the rain Gauge has finally packed up on me, I am having a job finding another one so it started me thinking should I buy a different type of weather station  . The weather station is in the bedroom so it would be nice to have it plugged in so I can see it at night but not a necessity  I was just wondering A , can I get another Gauge B, is it worth me buying one are smartweather any good and C, for about £60-100 can you recommend one ? thanks for your help

    If you're just after an automatic rain gauge then Oregon do one for £60:

    Otherwise it might just be more cost effective to get a new complete station. There's this for £100 which has the same gauge as part of the package:

    Thanks for the welcome reef and yes you are right it is a bit much, my gauge runs  868 MHz so I am not sure if that gauge would work or for that matter if another type would work with mine. I was hoping to get just the gauge but on a review site it did say the sensors let it down and it would be hard to find replacements

    Its very unlikely to work with your existing station unless its the same brand/make. The frequency might be the same but unless the station receiver and rain gauge 'speak the same language' as they say, then you'll have little success.
