A cool night with the odd light sleety shower and some long clear periods, A low of 1.8c just now.

a dry and fairly clear start, about 3/8 total cloud, a low of 2.0C just now so just starting to get some white showing on car windscreens as I look outside

 

0859=now down to 1.4C

Clear spells for time last night. Around mid evening  clouding over accompanied by a freshening westerly wind, some light-moderate  showery rain through the early hours and this morning. A good deal cloud with showery outbreaks, a few bright spells.

Clear intervals and a few light showers overnight followed by snow showers earlier this morning which have left a thin covering above 280 m.

Sleet showers are turning to snow in the heavy bursts here, A very thin covering just now.

After a few rogue showers this morning  a rather cold dry day with sunny spells clouding over this afternoon as rain approaches from the west.
