Moderate rain before midnight turned to sleet through the early hours fro a time before clearing around 02:00 GMT. Frost and ice forming before dawn. Bright spells this morning, cloud increasing, light snow shower at observation.

Showers clearing last evening. Variable cloud and windy for the first half of the night. Turning clear after midnight, wind dropping and a slight air frost forming. Bright spells for a short time through the morning before turning cloudy with a short spell of light rain before noon. Rather cloudy for the rest of the day, bright spells. Light moderate rain set in during the late evening.

Heavy sleet yesterday evening eventually turned to snow after midnight and gave a thin snow cover before clearing. The early morning was dry and cloudy but there's been continuous light-moderate snow since 0930 and it's still snowing now. The current temp' is 0.1c

Light snow and flurries to begin gradually got heavier from 10 onwards before dying out around 14:00. A slight covering but nothing much of note.

A few brief sunny intervals before 0900 but it soon became overcast with continuous light-moderate rather wet snow from 0930 until 1400. The snow thawed slowly and accumulated equally slowly with a maximum depth of 5cm around midday. The second half of the afternoon was dry and cloudy.

Snow overnight giving a couple of inch of wet snow but snowing all morning leaving 2 to 3 inch at low levels as it was also melting but 4 to5 inches higher up .Spells of rain and sleet in the afternoon and evening two inch of wet snow remaining.Max 3 deg,min 1 deg

Showery for the morning, with one or two Fully snow showers, which is rare for recent years, no surprise it didn't stick.

As it turned milder later, a drizzly wintry mix followed.
