From what I can tell it's just as opressive as a year ago today.

Just got back from a day out to Mid- Wales. It was 21.5C going up at about 11.30. It was warmer coming back at 23.5C. Been mainly sunny all day, though with plenty of huge fluffy comulonimbus cloud about the place. Was very cool when the breeze blew :D Temp now down to 21C and rather cloudy.

High of 23 this afternoon. A gorgeous Summer's day - a good deal of sunshine, much the same as jackfrost's report above.

On an additional note; many congratulations on the new arrival Paul Gulliver. :D

Dear, dear me. Do I not like rain.

Warm night again last night, 17.1ºC, not as warm as the night before at 18.3ºC.

Started raining yesterday at 10 am, and seriously has not stopped since then!

From 10am yesterday to 9am today we had 45mm of rain. That easily beats my record days total of 29mm.

From 9am this morning we have had a further 17mm of rain, and guess what? Its still raining.

Thats a grand total of 62mm of rain since yesterday morning. The wettest MONTH I have recorded previous to today was 70mm.

62mm rain, anybody beat that?

There's going to be one hell of a storm.

It's gone very dark indeed, many of the clouds are dark brown and grey, the first large drops of rain have begun to fall and the wind is picking up! :D

Really terrific day today, one which I was not expecting 8)

Clear blue skies onwards from around 0830 and it had been warm with blue skies ever since, just a bit of high cloud starting to come at the end of the afternoon :D

Temperatures a rather pleasant max of 23ºc, still slightly humid but nowhere near as much as during the previous week :D
