Yesterday's early evening showers soon cleared, and so did most of the cloud, to leave a dry and mainly clear night. Fog developed in the valleys before dawn and spread up to around 280 m before slowly receding.  Dry with sunny periods so far this morning but there's still a bank of fog in the valleys below 180m.

There was some light rain during the night, but the day was dry, partly cloudy and very sunny through to around 3pm, then full cloud.

There was also a cool easterly breeze which took the heat away from the sun at times.
