    Wintry showers cleared away last evening, clear spells following, widespread frost developing. Sunny spells so far this morning, cloud bubbling up quickly.

    24-hour maximum 10.1°C

    24-hour minimum: -0.9°C

    Minimum temperature on grass:  -2.6°C

    Rainfall total: 1.9mm

    7 Oktas Cumulus mediocris/congestus, Cirrus.

    Yesterday. 

     

    Clear spells overnight, frost developing. Variable cloud this morning, bright and sunny spells. Cloud continued to bubble up, moderate wintry showers breaking out before noon producing soft hail. The mid afternoon through to early evening saw more continuous moderate to heavy soft hail turning to snow and producing a temporary slight cover, several claps of thunder also heard. Temperatures falling rapidly close to freezing in showers.

    Storm seems to have finished but still hailing, most surfaces now covered, T=3.7C, nope not finished another fairly near rumble.
