    Patchy cloud at various levels, dry with sunny spells and temperature now up to 3.9C from a low of 1.1C and another ground frost, a total of 12 this month, my average over 20 years is five!

    Blizzard like conditions now as more heavy snow showers push through adding to the 2 inches or so we had overnight. Currently 1.1c in a light westerly.

    A dry start to last night but snow showers after midnight and, more especially, early this morning with 3cm of lying snow by 0700 g.m.t. This has largely thawed as there has been almost 2 hours of sunshine since the showers cleared. Dry with sunny intervals at present but a large mass of threatening looking cloud on the northern horizon.

Another cold day for late April. More continuous moderate rain arrived through the early evening, this clearing away by mid to late evening.

    Snow overnight giving a 2 inch cover here and 4 inch plus on higher ground,drifting in places,snow showers this morning turning to rain in the afternoon.Most gone now but patchy on high ground,fine this evening with some sun.max 6 deg,min 1 deg
