Sunny and clear first thing with traces of frost on the neighbours shed roof after an overnight low of 6.7c.

Cloud soon rolled in from the NE though and its now overcast and grey.

Still cloudy and dry, but the cloud does look a bit thinner and lighter and with 15.8C at the moment it is already warmer than any day since last Monday!

The latest Dundee sat picc visual enlargement does show thinner cloud upwind, with the 925mb wind also suggestive of thinner cloud working this way?
