Bright and dry this morning,warm night last night . Min of 18.0c ,currently 18.4c.

A warm and cloudy night with fog and drizzle during the early hours, and until 0600 g.m.t, after a dry evening. The overnight min' of 17.5c was the highest on record ( since 1963) in September although the 24 hr min' was a much more modest 12.8c.
Much of  the cloud has rapidly dispersed in the last 15 minutes and it's now warm with the sun breaking through a sheet of Ac to the east.

At 0800 g.m.t

Temp; 18.0c

24 hr max; 18.6c

24 hr min; 12.8c

Overnight min; 17.5c

Grass min; 16.0c

Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0800 g.m.t; 0.8 mm

Mean wind speed; 13 mph SW

 Warm already at 22.3°C. The minimum was actually at midnight at 18.5°C.

 And it just keeps getting warmer. Currently 24.8°C, won't be long before I surpassed 25°C. Running at  1.4°C above the national CET  for this month  so far. Sun is out now and temp is rocketing.

Not as exceptionally warm as expected overnight with a min of 15.7C. Today is very warm indeed though with a temp of 25.8C and a dewpoint of 18.6C.

We hit a dewpoint of 20.2C earlier which would be quite unusual in the summer months, never mind September.

With more sun around than forecast a hot day after early drizzle the drizzle dying away after 07:30 with sunny spells breaking through

What a hot and sticky day, max 27.2C and Td 18C+, goodness knows what the max might have been if all the cloud had not arrived late am into pm.
