Sleet yesterday evening turned to snow after midnight and gave a temporary 1cm cover during the early hours. Apart from a few traces in the grass this has entirely thawed. The snow gave way to light rain and drizzle well before dawn and currently we have thick fog and continuous moderate drizzle.
