Some heavy rain around lunchtime then isolated light showers during the afternoon a cold day

Sunny periods to start the day but quickly becoming cloudy and then light, showery rain by 1020. A short spell of squally rain followed by hail, then sleet, around 1230 but it was dry again by 1245 and the rest of the afternoon was dry with sunny intervals. The temperature fell to 2.6c during the squall but recovered to 5.8c by 1430.

Dry and bright to start, then torrential rain with thunder and lightning mid morning.

Dry and bright for most of the afternoon, but a torrential hail showers around 6pm which gave a short lived substantial covering, again with thunder and lightning.
