A ground frost early yesterday evening under clear skies and calm conditions but from mid evening it became cloudy and there were a few light showers of rain and sleet around and just after midnight. The cloud cleared again around 0600 and it became foggy by 0700. The fog began to thin and clear around 0915 and has now almost gone.

Fog, but also some sunshine, until around 1030 followed by increasing cloud during the late morning which brought a few spots of light rain by early afternoon. On the whole though the afternoon was dry and cloudy.
