How do I make a status update?

I have been a member on here for 3 months now, yet I still haven't figured out how to make a status update. It is probably very obvious, but I just can't figure it out for some reason.

Go onto your profile and click in the box at the top that says 'Write a public message on your own feed'. Or click 'What's on your mind' on the right hand side on the forum home page.

If you're using a phone, I think the main page status box is towards the bottom, so a lot of scrolling! But like Matt says, go onto your profile and you can do it there
