A mostly cloudy night, odd brief light shower. Cloudy so far this morning. Another mostly cloudy day. Some light to moderate showery rain during mid afternoon, a few brighter spells following.

Dry and bright but with layers of upper cloud, Ac As Ci and Cs, a real mix, with the sun coming through at times. A low of 6.0 C, now on 10.9 C but not feeling other than chilly in the breeze. 0.6 mm of rain mainly yesterday morning, and some in the evening, is the first rain since the same total on the 1st.

We are having a pretty dry spell at present, with no more than trace amounts so far this month and less than 3mm recorded at Reading university in the last 3 weeks (I suspect we'll have about that much again tomorrow, then very little for a few days after that).
