Still no rain here, this is the 24th day this month with no rain and it looks as though tomorrow will be another.  I shall have to go back through my records to see how this fits in with other dry months.

Another dry and cloudy day today. Still felt quite cold with the wind although the air felt a bit milder than earlier in the week.

Only had 3mm of rain so far this month so depending on how much rain falls on Sunday, it could be my driest ever recorded month!

Meanwhile, very pronounced cloud edge this evening.

I've been looking at that cloud edge from the other side!  Tantalisingly close a couple of hours ago but does not seem to have moved much yet.

My driest ever month (records from 2000) was April 2007 when I recorded just 2mm and had 27 dry days.  This month so far has clocked up 8.5mm but it looks pretty certain that it will be considerably higher by the end of Sunday.

Great morning. A Sc sheet that has virtually dissipated and bits and bobs of small Cu popping up. Temp 7C and a zephyr from the SSE

Pleasant sunny day yesterday and 14.5c, but it became chilly from 8pm at 6c from the N to NNE wind.
Got down to 4.8c at 4:30am

Now 10.9c, but cloudy skies, very light northerly wind earlier that has now turned southerly and increasing to 10mph, 1016.0 hPa, 85% humidity

Very nice indeed.
What kit and software are you using to do that?

Hi lettice

I use an IP camera, then use IPTimelapse software (paid) to connect to the camera. It has tons of settings and features, such as adding your wunderground weather to the overlay. I just set it to capture an image every 15 seconds between 00:00 and 11:59, it then creates the video for it at midnight, and automatically uploads it to my site.

It took a while for the sun to make an appearance here today, but now it has, it pushed the temp to 15.5°C

Temp: 14.6°C - Hum: 59% - Dew: 6.6°C - Bar: 1011.32hPa - Wind: SSE @ 10mph.

For all the talk of how dry it's been this month.

For tomorrow, I predict.....

Rain for this area...

Just see if I am correct :yahoo:...

With the wind in from the ESE, it's been a fair ol' breezy day, however we did manage peak of 14.5°C at: 14:06 so a pleasant afternoon in the garden..

Not again? :nonono:

Breezier today than it has been for quite a while. Oh and dry... again, until tomorrow.

Light grey cloudy skies for most of yesterday and the same this morning.
13c to 14c for most of yesterday, was 12.8c at midnight and 11.5c low at 6am.
Easterly 12mph winds kept it breezy yesterday and made it feel much colder.

Now 12.8c, ESE wind, 10-14mph but with some 20-27mph guts this morning.
1001.3 hPa, 70% humidity.

Looking forward to this rain coming this afternoon, the garden needs it.
April monthly rain of 5mm will certainly double.

Very breezy this morning with various plume type clouds, including the famous altocumulus grimsleyus.

Looks like the 'May'nsoon is upon us later today and into tomorrow.

Had a light shower about an hour ago, now it's just fine, light drizzle. It's ironic that the last day of the month brings in heavy rain, otherwise it would have been the driest month I had recorded on this station. dntknw.gif

Temp: 11.9°C - Hum: 79% - Dew: 8.4°C - Bar: 988.44hPa - Wind: SE ~ ESE @ 8mph.

So, just 1hr 20mins of rain, and it has been dry since. It looks to stay dry for the remainder of the afternoon. Certainly not what was forecast.

As Mapantz mentioned, it'stopped raining, NOT what was expected. ODD no measured rainfall for today, and yet at around 2am a sudden downpour. Quick check and the rain gauge had been knocked off it's perch, I suspect by our friendly visiting fox.:nonono: Just put it back in it's place again, and will have to adjust the reading manually..

Just started to rain again..

Just a very light spell of rain here that only lasted  around 15mins. Was hoping for more but the dry spell continues with only 6.6mm so far this month.

That next batch of rain is slowly losing its intensity. An utterly terrible forecast once again - washout has been non-existent.
