Stormchase gets underway today

It's that time of the year again, as the annual storm chase to the USA gets underway.

The tour 1 team are out in the USA already, with yesterday being the arrival day for the tour. It's a full, 3 car tour this one, with a lot of chase virgins joining their first ever storm chase!

The team have overnighted in Childress, and are in a good position for the action today, which includes a 5% tornado risk, and a good chance of supercells to get the tour off to a bit of a flying start. As usual, we'll be streaming live once the action is underway later:

They've switched on the GPS now, that stream was just a recording of the test in Dallas a couple of days ago I think.

I'm jelly. I have always wanted to go storm chasing in the states but never had the budget or time. Maybe next year! Hope everything goes well and you get to see some amazing storms. I'll be sure to keep an eye on your blog/videos! Keep safe.
