Yesterday.

 

Clear spells for the first half of the night, clouding over after midnight. A cloudy and breezy start. Some bright and sunny spells developing, then turning mostly cloudy again by observation, though wind dropping light westerly. Sunny spells developing again through the morning and in to the afternoon. Feeling warm.

Englands only cloud is sat right over East Lancashire and doesn't look to be in any hurry to move but I'm still hopeful for later.

A hot unpleasant day. Too hot to do any gardening and a lack of audible hedge cutting lawn or mowing suggests others feel the same. Sunny spells became more prolonged as the day went and now unbroken sunshine.  However it's not humid though. Bad weather day for people with breathing difficulties as well.
