A warm and humid night, mainly cloudy. Cloud thinning and breaking this morning allowing bright and sunny spells, already feeling very warm. Quickly turning hot in long sunny spells.

I wonder if 30C is possible? It would be the first time here in 16 years if it were to happen.

Preselli foothills, near Crymych,  1.00pm:

Mercury thermometer in the shade reading 30C, was 31C.  Might be a degree high but at least 29C as verified by other weather stations in the area.  Very light air / dead calm.  No clouds in the area but cumulus visible on the eastern horizon probably 30-40 miles away.  Does not feel at all humid though.

A few light cumulus clouds (new classification 'Simpsons clouds') have now appeared probably amounting to 10% coverage.  Temperature has dropped to 28C on our old Mercury thermometer but I have now set up the new electronic personal weather station (Father's Day present!).  The electronic sensor placed next to the thermometer in the shade is reading 26.2C so I guess our old readings were a bit optimistic!  Even so I reckon we reached a peak of 28C in this location, 150m asl.  Not bad at all.

An unpleasant hot day most people indoors and very little being done in the gardens. I got the hedges done this morning and a good job I had inhaler with me as well. Cloud has bubbled up this afternoon allowing brief relief from the heat.

My warmest day since 19 June last year when 34.5 C, today 32.4, some fair weather Cu this afternoon, not much breeze and a Td of 16, so sticky, 'orrible really but better than 13 C and rain one day earlier this month.

Looks like temps peaked here at 29.1C. Looks like most people agree with me and is too hot very quiet out outside.  Looks like a gradual cool down to pleasant temperatures on the way thankfully. I wouldn't be surprised if we hit 30+ tomorrow though.

Yesterday: very similar to today - hot and sunny with a little more cloud in the afternoon. The first time we've had hot weather for our annual street party. Maximum 29.4, minimum 13.2. Wind light SW.
