We've added new satellite images to Radar Extra today, they update every 15 minutes (with around a 20 minute time lag). Currently they're best viewed a little zoomed out, and show a satellite view for a good part of the globe.

If you have extra, it's on the V7 radar - click the 'View new satellite' button.

Just had a good look at this new feature and it's excellent, Paul. The satellite feature on the Met Office site updates only every few hours so to have one updating every 15 minutes is a real bonus.
