Anyway to disable this feature. It's very annoying as it never gets close to the location and I get the same notification even if I login into the same pc. Others that use this system like google don't display this issue and actually if I do login somewhere different get my location right. At the moment it's pretty useless.

I've always found the locations on these things to be a bit useless tbh, as they're generally just ip based. But regardless, I will get it switched off, but I can't until the task/settings bug we have at the moment is cleared, unfortunately (the one which caused some downtime during the week). We're going to be taking a closer look at the causes of it next week.

It's not a bad idea but when you're logging on in the same location it shouldn't alert you.

Out of interest, are you removing cookies everytime you logout?

Yup in theory although they don't always clear out.

I think it may be that causing it to keep emailing, if the cookie was kept that marked the device as having been logged in from before, it wouldn't send.

Just needs refining Google use a similar system and only raises an issue if I do move away from my normal haunts. So if suddenly login in London or a new device I will get an alert but not while I stay in the same location as long as I say it's me.
