A spell of moderate rain last night cleared shortly after midnight. Staying mainly cloudy. Mostly cloudy so far this morning. Snow drifts remain in nearby fields.

Further showers last night and through the early hours. More broken cloud later allowed a ground frost to develop before dawn, refreezing of what’s left of the patchy snow cover which is now only around 20%. Large drifts remain in near by fields. Sunny spells so far this morning. Variable cloud and sunny spells through the day, dry, much milder than recently.
