I don’t know what that “sun” word you mention is...feels like forever since we’ve had anything resembling warm and sunny!

I really feel for the folk who have come down here for the Bank Holiday weekend, today has been atrocious. So far the max temp is 6.9c and it's been raining since about 9am.

I’m coming down your way Sunday-Monday, weather is looking cr@p typical! Was lovely last time.

I'm heading up north this weekend, just in time for the snow...

Beeb weather presenters were keen to stress the long Easter weekend wouldn't be a write off a couple of days ago. Well with Good Friday virtually done that's one written off cold, wet crap day out of one so far. Three to go!

Landed in Latvia yesterday to frozen rivers and lakes... some broken ice sheets floating in the sea to the north of Riga. Pockets of snow on ground as we headed east. But barely 5% of the ground was covered in snow. This morning at 7am it began to snow lightly then moderately for 7 hours giving us 3 to 4 inches. Little more due shortly so we can cross country skii for a little in the morning before it melts... rain due Sunday turning to snow Monday... we shall see. Done with this rain.

The grass is squelchy and horrible.

Its been blinking non stop rain in my back yard Lass, when snow is forecast I get flurries, when its thunder and lightning I get drizzle. But if its heavy rain, then its a bullseye 100% of the time...Yuk, yuk, yuk!!!!

Just one world describes it here......disgusting! :bad:

Unfortunately that does appear to be the case Daniel. I wish it weren't.

Edit:  Just for the record  and to make  Snowflake Queen aware, I have never met Daniel and probably never will so a reunion is out of the question. Happy now SQ ?

same here, always get the same amount of snow, which is a couple of inches at best, two thunders storms a year, but always in the sweet spot for rain:angry:

Yes thats about it here too.:sorry:

All that panic buying and stocking up that I did for nothing, I have no idea what I'm going to do with all this powdered milk that I got, and anyway its horrible in tea. Its just that I got sucked into all the Beast hype and was sort of expecting another 87 or 91, or even a mini 09/10, I will never ever pay any attention to the Hirlam model again with all its mauves and deep purples showing for around here.:(
