    Overcast with rain after a brief burst of moderate sleet around 0800, total rain so far is 12.0 mm, a low of 1.1C in the sleet, now up to 2.1 C

    Early snow down to low levels rain at five in the morning snow by six ceased snowing at 08:45 and turned to rain but left 5.5cm of snow. Steady thaw in progress.

    Sleet late yesterday evening turned to moderate-heavy snow during the early hours, the snow reverting to freezing rain by about 0600 g.m.t.  Thick fog and light-moderate rain at the moment with the temperature having just got above 0c in the last 15 minutes

    24 hr min; -0.4c

    Grass min; -0.1c ( thermometer buried by snow )

    Rainfall in 24 hrs ending 0800 g.m.t; waiting for snow from gauge to melt

    A cold day Snow quickly turned to light rain and a steady thaw has continued. Still got full cover btw

    Cloudy and cool with rain most of the morning then showers, followed by patchy drizzle in the afternoon. Dry and cloudy now, starting to feel a bit milder. Maximum 11.1, minimum 3.6. Wind light S.
