After no thunder for a while just had a sudden really loud rumble. Rain keeps getting lighter only to intensify again soon after.

Several rumbles of thunder from a cell just to the east that is dissipating as quickly as it formed. Had about ten drops of rain too. 

Some good robust cbs to the north of here though. Hoping for at least a downpour.

Good luck to all the folks west of my location. The skies looked quite promising here earlier this afternoon and I picked up a few sferics on my trusty old mw radio but alas, all in vain.

Almost cloudless sky here now and currently 20.4c so can't complain.

Temp dropped 6 degrees in around 30 minutes.

Seems to be steering away from the coast MP-R, looks to be staying mainly inland.
