Low cloud and mist overnight, the mist thickening to fog. Visibility <300 yards this morning. The fog thinning to mist through the morning, a little brightness showing towards observation.

Yesterday.

Again turning cloudy from the east overnight. An overcast and misty start, moderate rain commenced around 08:00 GMT. Moderate  rain continued until around 10:00 GMT. The rest of the morning and afternoon continued mainly dull, misty with intermittent drizzle or light rain. the drizzle stopped by early evening, though remaining overcast.

Not very often you see Lerwick top the current highest temp charts. Currently 19.1c. It is in the same air mass flow that is likely to provide Olso across the water with its highest May temp on record !.
