Yesterday.

 

Cloudy overnight, a little drizzle at times, warm. Overcast so far this morning. A good deal of cloud around through the morning and in to early afternoon. From mid afternoon more broken cloud allowing warm sunny spells.

Disappointing day in London. It’s been cloudy all day and actually feels on the cool side with the breeze. I know, it would probably feel humid without the wind. 

Why does August seem to end up like this now, with longer cloudy dry days, with sun arriving after 4pm. It’s like the best part of the summer has already passed us by. 

This is why I prefer the May to July period, instead of August and September.

Plus, having a warmer June and July with long sunny periods is better, as opposed to having the best weather in August. We had longer evenings to enjoy those clear skies up until 10pm.
