    Damp misty dull start fog keeping the frost away

    A clear start to last night but it soon became overcast and foggy/misty. Still foggy above 320 m and misty below it.

    The view of the sky from my back garden is 98% cloud free apart from one wandering cumulus cloud but the view of the sky from front garden  is 75% cloud free apart from a few wandering cumulus clouds.

    A bright sunny day.

    The temperature is 9°C but feels more like 6°C.

    The wind speed is 15 miles per hour with gusts of 24 miles per hour which is coming from an easterly direction.

    The visibility is good.

    The humidity is at 75%.

    Finally the cloud cleared quickly after lunch time time leading to a cold sunny afternoon. A cold day and temperatures now dropping rapidly.

    The clear skies soon gave way to fog, about 200m at times but with the sky still visible; this cleared to blue skies again by about 10 am and stayed that way all day, max temperature 11.6 C

    Huge difference in temperatures there courtesy of the fog. Kept us warmer by night but cooler by day.
