    Dry, mostly clear, rain stopped around 0100 so just 0.2 mm since midnight, and 3.6 yesterday. A low of 2.5 C but no sign of any ground frost.

    Showery rain cleared yesterday around mid evening leaving clear spells. Ground frost forming. Clear so far, ground frost, widespread ice.

    Yesterday.

     

    Rain cleared last evening followed by a brief rise in temperature. Clear spells later allowed the temperature to fall again allowing a touch of ground frost through the early hours. At observation, clear, ground frost. Hazy sunny spells through the morning, more high and medium level cloud through the afternoon.

    Yesterday evening's rain cleared before midnight and the thick fog accompanying it cleared shortly after midnight. The second half of the night saw clearing cloud and a ground frost by morning. A dry and sunny morning  today but high cloud has been increasing steadily in the last couple of hours.
