Has anyone else living in or near Greater Manchester noticed how there is a weather pattern change between north and south Manchester areas. While Manchester airport was snowed in, to the north of Manchester there was a lot less snow (except up in the hills obviously). This is not a one off. It happens with thunderstorms also

A good 2.5 cm of snow in the west of the Isle of Wight at the moment with continuous moderate snow.
