Paul Ouch sorry i made that as clear as mud. I wasn't at any time referring to the forum or the text and features of the Netweather website. I was completely referring to, when using a Windows PC and Android phone App, the use of Radar V8 and the Full Extra forecast features such as next 48 hours forecast. Be it temperatures, wind, whatever.

LookOutTheWindow No worries. But, even on those parts of the site, if you are you forcing dark mode on your device or in the browser, the colours are controlled by that as it's just doing its own thing and over-riding the colours on the website rather than hooking into anything we've set up. So, we don't have any control over what that does with the font colours unfortunately. If it's proving hard to see, the recommendation would be to switch that off to go back to the colours that the website is designed to use for the time being.

The new version of the website will have a dark option built into it most likely, which we will have control over, but that won't be available until later next year.

We've upgraded the Eumetsat satellite imagery on the radar this morning, it's now higher res than the previous version and combines the visible satellite with IR imagery so will continue to display overnight.

@Paul Question how do you get the raw radar data, is there like an endpoint or API that the MetO provide or do you take the precip overlay images from the mets rainfall website and do some magic to stratify the pixelated radar returns into more natural shapes?

Ball Lightning We have a raw data feed from the met office - it's a commercial offering, they don't have an API for radar data currently.
