A cold and chilly start with thick fog and another ground frost gave way to a clear, very warm and breezy day. The 18.3C diurnal range today was the highest in my records back to 1980, beating the previous 18.2C set on 23rd April 2011. Humidity was very low in the afternoon aswell, dropping to 35% - the lowest in April for 4 years.

    Max Temp: 20.0C
    Min Temp: 1.7C
    Mean Wind: 16mph SE
    Max Gust: 21mph
    Sunshine: 10.2hrs (so far)
    Rainfall: None

Currently Clear and sunny with a temp of 17.1C and 45% humidity.
