A dry mild start with a strange bright object shining through some cirrus cloud.

Temp 9.7C, low 9.3C, Barometer 1010mb steady, Wind F1 SW, Rainfall since midnight nil

Dry and bright with sunny spells through upper cloud, 0.2 mm sometime overnight and a low of 8.2 C

Yesterday's showers died out during the evening and the rest of the night was dry with variable cloud cover. A dry start to this morning with a few sunny intervals but light showers have arrived from the west in the past hour.

Cloud soon rolled back in but a dry morning cool after a mild start. Manifold valley cloudy light rain on and off.

A sunny start was replaced by a gradual increase in cloud it's now raining with stronger south-westerly wind gusting to around 30mph

Well the clouds broke in the afternoon only for it to rain briefly in the sunshine. The front brought a brief spell of heavy rain and it now looks like a another shower is coming.

Two big showers this afternoon after some morning light rain. Bright spells in between and often breezy from the SW, gusting in the showers. Fairly cool.
