13C the sun is out at the moment, but not for long I fear, the wind seems to be gaining strength during the past hour. It was a rough old night last night with some very heavy rain in the early hours.

After a very wild night (heavy driving rain and strong winds), there are plenty of heavy blustery showers about, light breeze, but with some short sunny spells. Temperature dropping sharply in the showers, down to 10C, up to 13C in the sun.

Pete, seen some reports of Snow today on some mountains in Scotland.

Had what I thought from the Ft William webcam confirmed, snow falling and lying on the top slopes at the Nevis Range!

Snow settled down to around 3800ft om Aonach Mor! Not going to last, but it helps bring down the ground temperatures which is excellent.

    From "Skifreak" on TWO.
