Clear spells overnight, enough of a westerly breeze preventing the temperature falling below zero. Still chilly, just missing a ground frost on my grass, though car roofs and windscreens frosted near by. Sunny so far this morning.

Dry and sunny all day, feeling much fresher than recent days. The sunshine became somewhat hazy in the afternoon. Ground frost developing this evening, the first of the season. Maximum 11.1, minimum 3.5. Wind light NW.
