I just can't see anything happening this afternoon or tonight, sunny with little cloud. I might be wrong but I can't see where anything will come from.

Storm has passed but my WS clocked up max rain rate of 13.5mm per hour, total of 2.6mm fell. Interestingly, DP of 16.1c here at the moment which I think would indicate thsat the cold front not passed yet so could be in for some more! :D:) or am I being greedy?

Chaser if your chasing there is a huge cell currently heading for South Essex coming from London probably between Brentwood and Billericay may move North, if your going the other way North Suffolk and South Norfolk look VERY interesting. Let Us Know.

    Cheers

   :):):D Have to say this storm is like what I saw in the USA!!!! MASSIVE CG and VERY loud thunder - the rain was certainly severe limits, masses flooding, could not see out the windscreen - never seen rain as heavy as that in the UK - the lightning is blue and purple and the most fantastic pic of the gust front! Just like the storms you get in the USA!! It is clearly well organised and there was very ominous scud or possibly funnels hanging out down near where the gust front intersected the main rain core - well worth the 6 week wait :D:D:D:D

I thought I had broke it but then turned on the trusty AM/MW BAND on the radio and wow  was I suprised, only one thing to do get out in it, sounds like you got some more of the photographic stuff, ours was a little featureless really, but always nice to see.
