Weather Records And Observations

Have any of you kept your own weather records and observations? If so how far back do you go?

I have fairly accurate records going back to around 2000.  Max, min in 24 hours plus a general description of weather such as wind direction and strength plus rainfall, snowfall and air or ground frosts. Before that I have more general descriptions of the daily weather going back to 1978. AlsoI have some records my mother kept going back to the late sixties which included the times she was a weather watcher in the Highlands for radio Scotland in the seventies.
I think that you will find that there are other members on here that have more accurate records than mine and some that go  back further too.
