Cloudy and dry, a low of 2.4 C, no sign of any ground frost; yesterday the max was 5.2 C amazingly the highest this year!

Yesterday evening's light snow died out before midnight and the rest of the night was dry and cloudy with an increasing N wind. Dry and cloudy so far this morning.

Rain died out last evening leaving a mainly cloudy night, just the odd break in the cloud. Slight ground frost detected. Cloudy and dry this morning.

Moderate sleet here for past 40-50 minutes.T down to 1 C from 4.5 C, more rain at the moment than snow.

Barely a covering of snow on the ground, now drizzle, minimum temp -2.2deg.C at 00:24, currently 2.9deg.C, dew point 2deg.C, pressure 981.5hPa rising, very light northwesterly breeze.

5.2C high here in the Vale of York in a brief lunchtime sunny interlude. It's generally been grey, cold and wet, with a little sleetiness in a niggly, variable breeze if you watched carefully. (Altitude about 30m.) Mrs A reports regular snow showers through the day and slush on the floor at her school in West Yorkshire at about 140m altitude.

A cold and cloudy day with moderate wet snow from around 0945 until 1530, then dry and cloudy. 3.5cm of lying snow earlier this afternoon but it's thawed a little bit since then.

A cold ,dry start becoming showery turning to sleet and snow.Not sticking in the valley bottom but white above 200M
