Super Trooper - Abba

Always reminds me of the run up to Christmas for some reason.

Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd

Christmas number 1 from 1979 and the last number 1 of the 70s, and first one of the 1980s. Very fitting for the darker months.

Walking on the Moon - The Police

One of their better songs, but seems forgotten now.

Lets Get It Straight From The Start - Dexy's Midnight Runners

One Night in Bangkok - Murray Head

Hymn - Ultravox

Time(clock of the heart) - Culture Club

It sounds like a christmas song in some ways.

Que Sera Me Vida - Gibson Brothers

Caravan of Love - Housemartins

Sometimes - Erasure

Always On My Mind - Pet Shop Boys

Murder on the Dancefloor - Sophie Ellis Bextor

Handbags and Gladrags - Stereophonics

What's this got to do with Weather?...wrong area, should be in the lounge. I'll go for Human League - Don't you want me and OMD - Maid of Orleans both from the snowy December of 1981.

Mike Flowers was from the cold December of 1995.

I also know Fatima Mansions. Have you heard some of Microdisney’s material?

Dreaming Drains is a good tune. But I associate that particular song with summer.

Under The Moon Of Love - Showaddywaddy, so very nearly a Christmas number 1 in 1976, but not a Christmassy song.

Lol, I’m so glad I wasn’t around for that Christmas. What a terrible way to end the 1960s.
