Dry with  a lot of cloud at dawn, so not as cold as it could have been, a low of -0.8 C now on -0.2 C, but the 3rd consecutive air frost; still a few patches of snow in the back garden

Clear spells for a time overnight, cloud increasing early hours, wide spread frost and ice. Rather cloudy this morning, bright spells. Widespread ice. Snow depth 4cm 80% cover.

Further intermittent heavy snow through the morning and in to early afternoon, slow thaw. The snow turned to sleet briefly before stopping. Turning brighter mid afternoon. Frost setting in before dusk with show and ice freezing. Snow depth 4cm 80% cover.
