Happy New Year

Mostly cloudy, dry, no frost after being white over in early hours, a low of -2.1 C at 2100 last evening, -0.2 C at midnight and now 3.4 C

Moderate frost setting in last night under a clear sky. Cloud increased around midnight producing freezing light rain and drizzle as the temperature remained below freezing, widespread ice this morning, overcast. Freezing fog.

 Clear spells overnight, freezing fog forming, widespread frost and ice. Fog clearing before observation, frost and ice, bright spells. Snow cover 60%, 2cm. Fog reformed during the morning for a short time before clearing around lunch time. A sunny afternoon followed. Frost reforming quickly toward dusk.

A frost in the first half of the night followed by thickening cloud and rising temperatures with occasional drizzle or light rain during the early hours. Dry and cloudy since sunrise.

A cold day some light showers during the morning early afternoon then turning dry. Cold. No lying snow

Cold and dull with a couple of flakes of sleet this morning. Maximum 4.0, minimum -1.1. Wind light NW.

Yesterday: very cold, dry and and overcast. Maximum 1.2, minimum -1.4. Wind light NW.
