Cool with light rain

Snow continued to slowly thaw overnight. Mostly cloudy. Around sunrise the sky became more broken allowing a ground frost to develop. Snow cover 50% 2cm.

 Clear spells forming overnight, widespread moderate frost. Dawning clear and frosty. Still some patchy snow, 0.5cm <40% cover. Bright spells, though a good deal of cloud, light snow shower late morning. The afternoon cloudy and dry. Cold. A spell of moderate snow early last evening produced around 3cm. The snow stopped by mid evening and a slow thaw followed.

A cloudy morning with frequent showers moving in from the North Sea most of yesterday morning's snow has melted away now
