Aside from the upcoming storms tonight and Sunday/Monday the outlook for any winter weather is quite poor. The SPV is setting up home in Greenland and Newfoundland and shall reside there for the foreseeable. Anyway, back to the storm of tomorrow... Apologies for the interruption 🙂

Just wheeled the bins into a corner there and said a prayer for them.

Very blustery and heavy rain in Limerick here so far

Starting to pick up a bit here now I think. Have a fan on but hear some rumbling from the wind.

I can hear some wind too but can’t see the trees moving when I look out.

That's everything not the weight of a small sheep put into the garage.

Got one adult and one child in this house with me and the adult is terrified of strong winds..

Bring on the rescue remedy.

Stay safe and enjoy.

Heavy rain and trees flexing quite a bit already. What I’m experiencing now is like the peak of previous named storms 👀

gary1365 if you are at the East end of a bay, you need to be sandbagging, even though its Neap tide.

matty40s my parents are literally on the coast but they’re just at the mouth of Belfast lough at groomsport so the shouldn’t have to worry about the wind piling the water against them 🤣

At high tide they’re only a metre or 2 over sea level the coast path is as high as the seas come so far they’ll be fine with a southerly wind. You could throw a stone from their deck and put it in the sea

Absolutely wild out there, here in Kildare. Scary how strong the gusts are this early. Wasn't expecting it to be wild this early.

Can’t see anything on the traffic cams on the glenshane or coleraine mtn cameras but that might be because the lenses are covered in snow or maybe rain 🤣

Nuts out there last hour. Definitely the stormiest I recall experiencing.

It sounds like there's 10,000 horses galloping towards you from the distance.
