Well almost a clear sky now after a dry but cloudy dawn, 1.2 mm of rain since midnight, the low is 1.6 C at the moment, from 3.2 C at dawn, some frost on car windscreens in the last 20-30 minutes.

Rain clearing during the night leaving a frosty morning,cold and dry with good sunny spells,the frost lingering for much of the day.

Dry, mild and overcast. Maximum 9.5, minimum 8.3. Wind light N.

A notable feature of the last few weeks here has been the lack of sunshine - less than 7 hours recorded at Reading University in the first 12 days of this month and not much expected in the next few days.
